The Geneva Baseball Association provides in-house and travel youth baseball programs for ages 5 - 17 and emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Geneva Baseball is open to anyone residing within the geographic boundaries of the City of Geneva, Illinois, Geneva School District CUSD #304, and /or the Geneva, Illinois Park District.
2014 GBA Opening Day Spirit Wear

GBA is excited to offer this fun and exciting event again during our Opening Day Festivities Saturday April 26th (rain date 5/3) in addition to our traditional offerings.
This new event is the popular MLB Pitch, Hit and Run Competition. This event will be open to all members 7 to 14 yrs old in our In-house and Travel Leagues (Note: must not be older than 14 on 7/17/13). We will have separate divisions for both in-house and travel leagues. Winners of each event for each group will qualify to advance to the sectionals to be held in Bolingbrook on Saturday, May 17, 2014. (Bollingbrook Event: Registration – 11:30 a.m., Competition beginning at 12:00 p.m., Bulldog Park, 351 Blair Lane, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60439)
The event is free and will run from 10am to 12pm at Peck Farm fields 1,2 and 3. An effort will be made to prioritize players who have early game times.
Registration will close Friday April 25th at 8pm!Participants must register online to guarantee their spot for this event. Due to time and space constraints we will have to limit the number of participants. We expect to fill up, so please sign up early to make sure you reserve your place.
3) Check in prior to the Event at Peck Farm. Check-in will take place starting at 8:15am prior to and then again right after the opening day ceremony. NOTE: the registration form states that you need a birth certificate. For this local competition you will NOT need your birth certificate. Only those who qualify for the sectionals will need to need their birth-certificates for that next level.

Important Announcement on In-House Tournament Team
A reminder that GBA is holding the 2014 In-House Tournament Team (IHTT) tryouts on Sunday, 4/27 from 1:00-6:00 pm at Peck Farm fields. While we are aware that many are already signed up for tryouts, registration is still open for those looking to come out for the tryout. Teams are being formed at the 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U & 14U levels. IHTT provides an additional level of competitive baseball for those players who are registered in GBA's in-house 2014 spring league. Teams will practice or play a practice game once each week and then play in 3-4 local tournaments between May and July.
Due to available space, we will only be able to offer the tryouts on 1 day. We apologize in advance to those who will not be able to attend due to scheduling conflicts, but know that while attendance at the tryout is recommended, it is not mandatory to be selected to a team. If you are unable to attend the tryout, please indicate this when registering.
